The owner and top chef  of a local Prince Rupert sushi restaurant  was in Ottawa, with Dai Fukasuka serving up some of his best work and highlighting the need to safeguard for sustainable and local seafood.

November 21 -- RCMP have one in custody related to Hit and Run near Terrace

RCMP in Northwest BC have announced that one person is in custody related to the hit and run incident of the weekend, the arrested man was taken into custody on Haida Gwaii, he is from the Lower Mainland.

Sunday's incident took the life of a Terrace resident, thirty year old Cameron Kerr.
