8,000 fish will be on their way to the Wet’suwet’en First Nation as part of the Nanika Exchange, as local fishermen on the North Coast voted in favour of this years exchange which will see an early opening for the sockeye season, with up to 200 boats taking part in the start to the salmon season this weekend.
